Minister of Care Workshop with Deacon David Shea

This workshop is for those wishing to participate in the ministry of bringing the Eucharist to the homebound. The workshop will be held at St. Joseph Parish Center on Saturday, August 24, from 9:00-11:00 am.

Bringing the Eucharist to the homebound is a wonderful way to generously serve those in our Family of Parishes who cannot attend Mass due to illness, injury, or age. First and foremost, this ministry enables them to receive Our Lord in the Eucharist. It also shows them very personally how they are still an important and valued member of our family. The workshop will be conducted by Deacon David Shea, a permanent deacon at Immaculate Heart of Mary parish in Cincinnati and recently retired Associate Professor of Homiletics at Mount St. Mary’s Seminary. The workshop is free, but please call your parish to register.
